We offer soft roof cleaning to take care of the moss, lichen, and algae. Leaving these organisms to flourish greatly reduces the lifespan of your roof. Our process safely cleans off these organisms which in turn will lengthen the life of the roof. We use no pressure so there will be no damage to the shingles on the roof.
You should never let anyone use a power washer on the shingles of your roof! The only way to safely clean the growth off of your roof is to treat it with a soft wash system and let the growth die slowly. Once the organism is dead the roots will shrivel and let go organically so there will be no granule loss to the shingles affected. Using pressure on a roof will damage the shingle and cause your roof to need replacement. With our system there will never be damage caused to your roof.
When should I get my roof cleaned? You should have your roof treated at the first sign of black algae. These are the black striping or blotching you see in the picture above. Once this black algae is treated it dies and disappears within a few days. Once lichen and/or moss grows on the roof it could take up to 6 months after treatment for it to dry out and safely remove itself from your roof.
